Thanksgiving Goes to London

This was my first Thanksgiving away from my family and considering this is the holiday that my parents host, it felt strange to completely over look it. With that said, I had my parents forward all of their key recipes while Bert and I constructed a guest list.

 Menu:
-Turkey
-Honey Glazed Ham
-Pork Sausage Stuffing
-Smashed Potatoes with Chives
-Corn
-Brussel Sprouts
-Apple Crisp for dessert

While all the delicious smells filled our flat we had everyone watch clips of the Macy's 86th Thanksgiving Day Parade.

We had so much fun hosting our first holiday together, still can't believe we pulled it off in our tiny studio flat. Special thanks to our favorite bartender at Off Broadway for lending us a table and to our awesome guests, we hope we made your first Thanksgiving a memorable one.

Looking back, I have a whole new respect for my parents, hosting such a feast really was exhausting.
